CSIP-AUS is Australia’s unified communication and control standard for distributed energy resources (DER). Based on IEEE 2030.5 and CSIP-AUS v1.2, it is progressively becoming a mandatory Australian standard under TS 5573:2025 from July 2026. DER equipment within the applicable scope will generally need to demonstrate the ability to connect, communicate, and respond to control signals in accordance with CSIP-AUS to enter the Australian market.
